Milwaukee Boat Line Hiring for 2017 Season

FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION.
The Food & Beverage Manager ("FBM") will train and supervise stewards. The FBM also acts as lead steward on certain public and private cruises (see Steward description below). The FBM is responsible for managing inventory and placing orders.

REQUIREMENTS. This is a very active job that requires strong leadership, time-management, and organizational skills. Bartending experience required. Long days may be required during peak season. Must be available nights and weekends. Due to USCG regulations, must be United States Citizen. SCHEDULE &

COMPENSATION. Must be available April through October. Approximatelt 40 hours/week, $15+/hr based on experience.

DECKHAND JOB DESCRIPTION
. Deckhands are an integral part of the safe operation of all vessels. They are also charged with supporting the captain and ensuring the necessary comforts of guests. This includes, but is not limited to, securing, maintaining and cleaning the vessel. Deckhands should be visible at all times and interact with the passengers on a regular basis in order to provide quality customer service.

REQUIREMENTS. This is a very active job that requires Deckhands to be on their feet most of the time with the ability to: lift 25 lbs, getting on & off the vessels, climbing over barriers 4' high. Long days may be required during peak season. Must be available some nights and weekends. Due to USCG regulations, must be United States Citizen.

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION

. Positions available May through October. 20-40 hours/week, $11+/hr based on experience. 

STEWARD JOB DESCRIPTION.
Stewards are required to set up and operate the food and beverage bar aboard our vessels. Tasks include serving soft drinks, beer, cocktails, & snacks. Stewards should be visible at all times and interact with the passengers on a regular basis in order to provide quality customer service.

REQUIREMENTS. This is a very active job that requires Stewards to be on their feet most of the time. Long days may be required during peak season. Must be available some nights and weekends. Bartending experience is a big plus. Due to USCG regulations, must be United States Citizen.

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION.
Positions available May through October. 20-40 hours/week, $11+/hr based on experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION. Assist management with daily administrative tasks including: answering phones, selling tickets, basic bookkeeping. Work closely with General Manager on special tasks & projects. Assist with social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Etc.).

REQUIREMENTS. This is job requires excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multi-task and work independently a must. Mac, PC & iOS experience a plus. Long days may be required during peak season. Must be available some nights and weekends
