Hello, my name is Andreana Moody and I am the Graduate and Professional Education Associate at MSOE. I handle inquiries about professional education courses , schedule events, seminars and professional education courses for faculty and trainers and facilitate our PEAK event utilizing my experience in project management and planning to provide logistical support, track registration, payments and more. The remainder of my time is spent partnering with the Director of GPE, Dr. Alexandra Sielaff promoting our services throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.
Our professional education courses fall under the following four categories:
- Managerial and Organizational Improvement
- Business Systems, Processes and Tools
- Personal Development for Professional Advancement
- Global Competency
One commonality between all of our professional education courses, is that we provide application-oriented content. This means that what you learn in our courses you can apply the next day at work. Our qualified trainers and educators have real world experience across various industries and involve your company's projects within the training.
In addition to hosting public courses at MSOE, our department is also able to provide custom on-site training at company locations. We provide expert consultation and follow-up instruction to meet your corporate training needs. We are able to provide any of our professional education courses on-site, as well as any new instruction you and your company may need.
Our most popular courses include the following:
- PEAK - One day training event geared toward Professional Engineers to aid in earning their required professional development hours (PDH's) to maintain licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
- Project Management - We currently offer three levels of Project Management training: Project Management Short Course (one day beginner course), Project management Associate (three day intermediate level course), and Project Management Lead (5 day advanced course, must have previously taken Project Management Associate).
- Conducting Business with Indian Engineering Culture
- Ethics for Engineers
- Lean Sigma Green Belt
