Maintenance tickets
For some reason I can't find where to file a maintenance ticket on http://www.msoe.edu. One of the toilets on the third floor men's bathroom in the CC building is plugged up. The Ethernet outlet by the stairs in the raised area by the helpdesk are out. Both top and bottom. When heading up the stairs it's the first one on the left. I wouldn't be a bad idea to test the others.

Sexual Misconduct Policy
Welcome to Graduate Admissions
Hello, my name is Ian Dahlinghaus. I am the Graduate Admissions Counselor at MSOE and I have been in this role since July 2014. Prior to moving to Milwaukee and working at MSOE, I completed two terms of service as an AmeriCorps State volunteer in Austin, Texas. If you are unfamiliar with AmeriCorps and what they do, please take the time to check them out. In my role, I served as a College Access Advisor to 50-60 economically disadvantaged, first generation college-bound high school students.
Now, I am responsible for assisting prospective graduate students through the inquiry, application, registration and enrollment processes. I also spend quite a bit of my time traveling around Southeast Wisconsin, promoting our graduate programs at graduate school fairs and professional conferences. In addition to these events away from campus, I also help coordinate and execute events here on campus, such as our quarterly Graduate Programs Showcase. For those of our students who can't make it to an in-person info session, I host monthly online info sessions.
I am also currently a student in the MSOE MBA program. Not only will this provide me with the skill set I need to grow professionally and advance university achievement, but I am also gaining insight into the MBA program, which allows me to better address questions about the program from prospective students.
When I am not in class or attending an event, I can be found in Rosenberg Hall, room 205. If you have any questions about our programs, or would just simply like to chat, feel free to stop by. My door is always open. If you have inquiries about our Corporate Partner Network, please contact Alexandra Sielaff. For questions about our professional education opportunities, please see Andreana Moody.
Best,
Ian Dahlinghaus

Interlibrary Loan Policies
About the Service
Even in today's Internet world, where vast numbers of published documents are available online, not all information is available for free online. Moreover, not all libraries own or provide access to all published information. Interlibrary Loan is a library service that facilitates the sharing of published documents (e.g., books, journal articles) between libraries. For qualifying libraries, Interlibrary Loan is a protected service under U.S. copyright law. Thousands of libraries contribute to Interlibrary Loan by networking through a system called WorldShare Interlibrary Loan to request and lend materials amongst each other. Through this system, MSOE library staff are able to determine which libraries own the needed materials and are able to place borrowing requests. In exchange for borrowing materials, we loan our materials to libraries that need them.
This service is available to current MSOE students, staff, and faculty. There is no charge for this service unless the cost of the request exceeds $25. If the cost of a request exceeds $25, we will contact you to determine your willingness to cover any additional costs.
Requesting and Receiving Materials
Requests are checked regularly during the academic year. Most requests are processed within 48 hours. Patrons can expect requested materials to arrive in approximately 5 to 7 business days. Patrons will be notified via email when materials are available. Some requests may take longer. We will contact you if there is a delay with your request, or if we are unable to obtain the requested item.
Undergraduate students may request up to 20 items per academic quarter. Graduate students may request up to 40 items per academic quarter. Requests from undergraduate and graduate students above their current limits will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. There is no item limit for faculty and staff.
Loan Periods and Renewals
Loan periods and renewals are dependent on the policies of the lending library. Most libraries loan materials for approximately 4 weeks, with the possibility of 1 renewal. Renewals may be requested through your account in ClioWeb or by sending an email to interlibraryloan@msoe.edu. Please send renewal requests at least 1 week before the due date.
Overdue and Lost or Damaged Materials
Patrons are responsible for any items obtained through Interlibrary Loan. Items borrowed through Interlibrary Loan must be returned on or before the due date. Any item returned after the due date is subject to overdue fines.
Patrons will be billed for items that are not returned, or are lost or damaged. Any unpaid charges will be turned over to the Student Accounts Office at MSOE. Patrons who do not return Interlibrary Loan items or who do not pay for lost or damaged items, may have both their Interlibrary Loan and regular library privileges suspended.
This policy may be modified at any time by the MSOE Library.
