Summer is finally here! Everything is a bit more relaxed, slow-paced, and hopefully filled with fun. I know writing an essay doesn't really sound like fun, but winning free money is fun. So is, therefore, having to take out fewer (or no) loans, which will enable you to have much more fun post-graduation, however far away that may be for you.

hobbiesss.png

I will still be posting the Money Monday blog all summer. Please note though, that summer is a bit "slower" of a time in the scholarship world too, so there are fewer scholarships being posted now. However, they still are being posted! This is absolutely the time of year you should be doing your own searching, especially for niche things that make you YOU and that I wouldn't necessarily post here. Even if the application isn't due until fall or winter, take the time to find the scholarships now and set yourself a calendar reminder to apply in a few months.

Networking is the broccoli of the job search; we all know it's good for you, but that doesn't mean that you enjoy it. Many young people find it difficult to speak with adults they don't know, especially when the other person may be a lot older. It can be difficult to start a conversation, but many find it's even harder to talk about themselves.
