Applicant must be pursuing or planning to pursue a certificate of degree that could lead to a career at an electric utility. Examples include but are not limited to power plant technology, electric lineworker, powerline technology, electrical power technology, electrical lineworker technology, electrical distribution systems, utility line technician, environmental specialist, and traditional and alternative power generation technologies.

Welcome to this week's Money Monday. I'm still trying to hold onto summer but today I took a look around and saw the leaves changing color and realized it's almost October - yikes! No matter what your plans are this week, you should make some time to apply to one or more of these scholarships. There are two new MSOE ones this week as well as a non-MSOE one that an MSOE student won last year and I'd like to keep that streak alive!

Due to security reasons, the NYSE no longer offers public tours/access. However, thanks to MSOE Regent Steve Booth, President and CEO, Baird, we have a private tour arranged for Monday, October 31, 2016. Our guided NYSE Trading Floor visit will enable you to tour this iconic landmark while seeing the financial markets in action and meeting the unique traders who make it all work. Its experienced staff imparts interesting facts and history while also allowing the action of the market to speak for itself.

Visits usually last approximately one hour.

Attire required is business wear for both ladies and gentlemen.

Nearest Subways: 2/3 or 4/5 to Wall Street; N, R or W to Rector Street; the J/Z trains stop at Broad St nearby.

All majors from the CAECM Department are encouraged to attend and hear firsthand what education, skills, traits and abilities are necessary to become a great construction professional. Dr. Jeong Woo, MSOE construction management program director, will serve as moderator.

Carl Rathmann, Professor Emeritus, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and Adjunct Professor of Mechanical Engineering, MSOE, 2011-15, will examine the interesting and not well understood behaviors between turbulent and laminar (smooth) flow of fluids. This is one of a series of talks on science and technology through the Physics and Chemistry department.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
THE Grocery Store Attendant is required to perform the duties such as :
*Insures all authorized items are on the shelves
*Keep track of all record both outgoing and incoming shipments and ensure all groceries are well arrange.
*Responsible for store resets and product display
. *Introduce our customers to new items, shippers, surveys, off-shelve displays, cutting and sampling, promotions, ads, and cross merchandising

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
*Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
Prior retail experience is preferred, but not required.
*Language Skills: English is the primary language skill, however, bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
