Rockwell-Collins of Cedar Rapids, Iowa will be on campus for “Take Flight 2016." Rockwell-Collins is one of the leading companies in the avionics field; their devices have flown around the world, to the moon on the Apollo Program, and into space on every Space Shuttle mission. Most likely, if you have ever flown on a commercial airliner, some Rockwell-Collins system has made that flight possible. Rockwell Collins is an industrial partner of the EECS Department, sponsoring senior design projects and providing grant monies for multiple EECS program labs.
“Take Flight” is an Industry Day where you can learn in detail about a company, their technical domain, and their need for engineers. “Take Flight” should interest everyone in the EECS department. Rockwell Collins is graciously sponsoring a dinner for MSOE students, complete with avionics based door prizes and other giveaways. Registration for this event is available at https://goo.gl/forms/oDTbA5SYZo147gKs2
