Dead Man's Carnival
Dead Man's Carnival is a nationally touring Milwaukee-based live music variety show. The show combines our love for turn of the century vaudeville with the uncompromising passion of the do-it-yourself underground punkrock community. Acting as more than just an evening of entertainment, we create a time and place for unusual displays that would otherwise have no place to bloom. The show is presented in a format that emphasizes crowd interaction, improvisation, and inner group collaboration. With a rotating cast of dozens of performers from all over the country we are writing the next chapter in Wisconsin's long circus legacy.
Each month features different acts. Both up and coming local artists as well as national touring world champions.

We believe that the most successful companies:
Focus on customers first
Are helpful and supportive
Communicate openly and honestly
Are nimble and flexible
Take initiative and work hard
Are passionate and have fun
As members of the tech community, we also believe that the best engineers, designers, and developers define themselves by the above values. Which is why we award one $2,500 scholarship each semester to a student who tells us about a company they admire that exemplifies any of the above core values.

Whether you watched Sunday Night Football or the second Presidential Debate last night, the Bears still lost so it's a happy day in Wisconsin (unless, of course, you are a Bears fan but you have the Cubs so don't be too sad). We are really in the thick of the term now, so it can get easy to get into a routine of only school, work, and (hopefully) sleep. Try something new this week and apply to one of these scholarships!
